The luxurious surroundings, the excellent staff attention to detail. Any request to staff was absolutely no problem. The merchant is definately a great asset to Belfast and far outpasses any hotel we have stayed in through out the world. Fantastic
we stayed in room321 at the end of a a corridor, and the only complaint about our whole stay is that as we left and approached our room each time we could either see trays of left over room service food on the floor through the glass door( into i think it was a stairway for staff,) and on one occasion there was a grubby white trolley piled high with left over food plates and dirty glasses etc. A bit off- putting. apart from this our stay was excellent!

Comfortable room, delicious breakfast, with the added convenience of a great location near local bars and restaurants just 1.5 km from the main train station.
Don't have any issues at all.

Fine decor and really good service
I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay with amazing Art Deco architecture that encapsulated luxury. The staff were genuinely attentive, especially during breakfast in the Great Room, where the selection was delicious and beautifully presented. The room's lighting could be improved for a more comfortable reading experience.

Couple's Retreat Worth Considering
Had a blast with my partner celebrating a birthday there. They surprised him with a balloon and chocolates, that personal touch, you know?
It cost a pretty penny, but for the memories, it felt alright.
